
Moldova Post Office temporarily suspends postal services to Israel
Moldova Post Office announced today the temporary suspension of receiving postal shipments for Israel.
“Starting from June 17, 2025, all international postal shipments (letters, parcels, EMS) destined for Israel will be suspended due to the cessation of air traffic and other transport services to this destination. We will provide updates on the resumption of services through our official website,” it explains.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova issued a maximum-level travel alert on 13 June — Avoid all travel — for the State of Israel, in light of the security situation in the Middle East. Additionally, a Crisis Cell has been activated.
Last week the Israeli army launched the largest air strike against Iran in recent decades, in an operation called Rising Lion.
