The profession of a physician is not just a job; it is a form of responsibility towards humanity. We are grateful for everything you do. Prime Minister Dorin Recean has conveyed a message to this effect, on the occasion of Medical Worker and Pharmacist Day in Moldova.
"Peace and health to all medical workers and pharmacists! The profession of a doctor is not just a profession; it is a form of responsibility towards humanity. Every day, physicians face difficult decisions, long shifts and patients in moments of vulnerability. The heroes in white coats are people who work with patience and a sense of duty that does not end at the close of the workday," said Dorin Recean.
The prime minister expressed gratitude to medical workers for the dedication with which they save lives, for the support provided to patients and for the peace they bring to those who need help.
"Dear physicians, we are grateful for everything you do - for the dedication with which you save lives, for the support you provide to your patients and their families and for the peace you bring to those in need. May you have supportive teams, understanding, and the strength to continue this mission which means more than healing - it means hope," concluded Dorin Recean.
In Moldova, the Medical Worker and Pharmacist Day is annually marked on the third Sunday of June.
