
Warsaw authorities announce suspension of border crossing points between Poland and Russian Federation and Belarus
The authorities have issued a travel alert in Poland. The decision was made in the context of temporary crossing restrictions in both directions of the border between Poland - the Russian Federation and Poland - Belarus.
According to the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Warsaw, the measure is applied in accordance with the decision of the Government of the Republic of Poland, starting from September 12.
The restrictions are imposed on the following border crossing points: Republic of Poland - Russian Federation: PTF - Gronowo, Gołdap (road) and Republic of Poland - Republic of Belarus: PTF - Połowce, Sławatycze, Kuźnica, Bobrowniki (road); PTF - Białowieża, Rudawka (land, pedestrian crossing); PTF - Terespol, Kuźnica (rail).
In this context, Chisinau authorities recommend that individuals intending to travel to Poland check the travel alerts published on the official website of the Polish Border Police - https://granica.gov.pl - the information is available in English, German and Russian. Additionally, citizens can use alternative routes.
The restrictions will remain in force until they are lifted by the Polish authorities.
