Drone illegally crossed airspace of Moldova
A drone illegally flew over the airspace of the Republic of Moldova on the morning of November 4, crossing the country’s territory from the Odesa region toward the Transnistrian segment, before exiting in the direction of Ukraine’s Vinnytsia region.
According to the Air Operations Center of the National Army, the drone entered the national airspace at 4:23 a.m. from the direction of Zahnitkiv, Odesa region, and proceeded toward the city of Camenca in the Transnistrian region.
Two minutes later, at 4:25 a.m., the aircraft left the airspace of the Republic of Moldova through the area of Vărăncău village, Soroca district, heading toward Ukraine’s Vinnytsia region.
The Ministry of Defense stated that the incident occurred amid the massive attacks launched by the Russian Federation against Ukraine. The Air Operations Center continues to monitor the airspace of the Republic of Moldova in coordination with the relevant authorities and partners.
