
Autonomous lighting system installed in Tohatin
Chisinau, 7 July /MOLDPRES/- An autonomous lighting system, equipped with LEDs and photovoltaic panels, has been installed in Tohatin commune, Chisinau municipality, with the support of the Energy Efficiency Agency (AEE).
The project Increasing road safety on roads of national importance by modernizing the lighting system for pedestrian crossings is carried out under the call for proposals of projects in renewable energy and the promotion of solar energy technologies. The project aims at improving the safety of road traffic and pedestrian traffic in the area of Tohatin commune.
The installation also has a temperature measurement system, automatic summer / winter time adjustment and an online platform for managing and monitoring the solar street lighting system that allows total control of the necessary parameters for optimizing energy resources to maximize system sustainability.
