
Ceadâr-Lunga perinatal center resumed activity after quarantine
Chisinau, 25 February /MOLDPRES/- The perinatal center in Ceadâr-Lunga resumed activity this week, after a period of quarantine, according to the regional press.
“We have returned to the usual work regime and we are ready to offer services for pregnant women in Ceadâr-Lunga, Taraclia, Comrat and Vulcănești districts. Lately, we have not had new cases of COVID-19 infection ", director of Ceadâr-Lunga district hospital Natalia Papazoglo said for gagauzinfo.md.
During two weeks, as the institution was in quarantine, all rooms of the center were disinfected and for the moment do not present any danger to patients.
The second level perinatal center in Ceadâr-Lunga has a capacity of 21 patients.
Since 6 February the institution has been quarantined due to an outbreak of the new coronavirus among hospital staff.
