CET-Nord to continue modernization of district heating system in Bălți
Chisinau, Dec. 14 / MOLDPRES /- Economy Minister Sergiu Gaibu and director of the Public Property Agency (APP) Eugeniu Cozonac had a meeting with administration of the Joint Stock Company CET-Nord.
During the discussions, several topics were addressed, including the supply of consumers with thermal energy, but also the actions of modernization of the district heating system of Balti.
The interim general manager of CET-Nord, Marian Brînză, presented the modern technologies for cogeneration of electricity and heat. In this context, the head of CET-Nord spoke about the agreements concluded with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Regional Fund of the Eastern Partnership for Energy Efficiency and Environment, as well as about their positive impact.
"Following the implementation of financing projects, the performance of the company has improved, and consumers have saved on paying bills," explained Marian Brînză.
Eugeniu Cozonac appreciated the way in which the management of the company managed to face the gas crisis, but also the financial challenges. He encouraged the CET-Nord management to continue the modernization projects of the enterprise in order to be able to provide the highest quality services to the inhabitants of Balti municipality.
