Creation of Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer in Bălţi almost completed
Chisinau, Dec. 7 / MOLDPRES /- The construction-assembly works executed at the future Center for Innovation and Technological Transfer in the North Development Region, from Bălţi, are at the completion stage. The center is being set up as part of a project funded by the National Fund for Regional Development (FNDR) and supported by the Moldova Competitiveness Project.
Experts from the North Regional Development Agency (ADR) checked yesterday the progress of the works. “The works planned within the project are at the completion stage. In the next period, the specialists of the Agency will prepare the event for organizing the reception at the end of the works ", ADR Nord said.
The two blocks that will host the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer are connected to electricity, water and sewerage networks, the Internet and others.
The headquarters of the future Center, with an area of 6054 square meters, is located on the territory of the State University "Alecu Russo" in Balti.
The project is implemented by ADR Nord and funded by FNDR sources. Strategic development partners in this project are USAID, Sweden and UK aid, financiers of the Competitiveness of Moldova, which will support the implementation of the project
The contribution of the Competitiveness of Moldova Project is related to the endowment with furniture and equipment of the renovated spaces of the future Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer in the North Development Region.
The project implementation started in July 2020.
