
Holercani high school energy efficient with EU help
Chisinau, April 21 /MOLDPRES/- Members of the local steering committee of the energy efficiency program of the theoretical high school in Holercani, Dubăsari convened in a final meeting of the EU-funded project yesterday. This was an important opportunity to assess the results of the project and to discuss how the proposed objectives were achieved, the Regional Development Agency (ADR) Center hsa reported.
During the meeting, it was found that the project was a success, the goals have been largely achieved. By implementing energy efficiency measures, the theoretical high school in Holercani significantly reduced the consumption of electricity and thermal energy, which ensured a significant decrease in costs for the school.
The energy efficiency measures implemented with the EU support in Holercani high school allowed a significant decrease in the consumption of electricity and thermal energy, which had a positive impact on the environment.
Thanks to these energy efficiency measures, the annual standard energy consumption in the school has been reduced by 58 MWh, which means a significant decrease in electricity and heating costs. Also, annual standardized CO2 emissions fell by 18 tons, which contributed to improving air quality and protecting the environment.
Energy efficiency measures have led to improved learning conditions and thermal comfort in the school, which has contributed to improving the health and well-being of over three hundred students and teachers.
