Moldovan Prime Minister meets artists of Funza Nucului folk ensemble
Chisinau, Aug 3 /MOLDPRES/- On a working visit to Telenesti district, Prime Minister Dorin Recean sent a message of appreciation to the folk ensemble Frunza nucului of Inesti for the efforts and dedication to preserve the cultural heritage. The artists told the official about their passion for traditions and how they manage to adapt them to new trends.
It is impressive how the artists manage to adapt to new trends and attract the younger generation through projects such as the joint one with Magnat and Cănățui Feoctist. Together they bridge the gap between traditional and modern, proving that popular music can evolve and remain relevant without losing its authenticity," he said.
The members of the ensemble expressed their gratitude that thanks to the European Village program, they have been provided with traditional costumes, which motivates them to be more active and participate in various events.
As part of the project, for the implementation of which the Government has invested more than 600 thousand lei, the House of Culture in Inești was endowed with modern technical equipment.
Frunza Nucului ensemble, made up of 10 artists, was founded in 1976.
