PHOTO Moldova promoted in Chinese province
A delegation from the Republic of Moldova, represented by Irina Tolstousov, deputy head of the Investment Agency, together with Elena Stepanov, director of the National Association for Inbound Tourism, paid a working visit to Xian on April 18-21, with the support of our country's Embassy in China. The visit's purpose was to promote strategic sectors and facilities available for Chinese investors.
The delegation held meetings with officials of the Departments of Commerce, Tourism and Culture, and Shaanxi Chamber of Commerce to strengthen bilateral relations and identify economic and tourist opportunities. During Moldova-China Economic Forum, Moldova's investment offer was presented in front of over 60 Chinese companies, focusing on strategic sectors and facilities available for investors.
“An important meeting took place with the giant ‘CR Power’ (Top 500 Forbes), which expressed interest in green energy projects. Moldova was also represented at ‘Xian International Silk Road Expo,’ where seven local wine companies were promoted through a country stand, alongside local distributors. Irina Tolstousov awarded certificates to Moldovan wine distributors in the Chinese market,” explains the Investment Agency.
The visit received visibility in the Chinese press, contributing to strengthening Moldova's image as an attractive partner for investment and tourism in the region.
