Chisinau, 25 January /MOLDPRES/ – The Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM) has launched today in the electoral campaign for the parliamentary elections of 24 February.

The event was attended by the leadership of PDM and several supporters of the party.

The leader of the Democrats' party, Vlad Plahotniuc, has said the governance programme of PDM is dedicated to citizens and it was built on the talks and requests from people.

"The PDM team has achieved concrete results, proven by facts, not by talking. The citizens are able to analise what has been done in these three years of PDM governance and what the country can lose if other formations come to power. It is very important to talk to people and give them all the arguments. The PDM team has achieved tangible results, even though in 2016 there were few which believed in our success. In three years of governance, we have managed to do as much as previous Governments did. We are eager to continue the reforms in 2019 and in the rest of the years, because the PDM will remain in governance. The new roads, pensions, wages and increased allowances, opening jobs with decent salaries – these are just a few important achievements, but the successes will continue and we will get even better results. We appeal to the hearts and reason of the people, who have to see what the difference between the electoral competitors is. We trust our own forces and we want the country to develop further. The PDM is the only party that can maintain order and economic progress. I trust the PDM and I am sure of the victory of the Democrats' party," said Plahotniuc.

For his part, PM Pavel Filip has specified that "the party enters the electoral campaign with the feeling that the team has done its duty to the people and it still demands the confidence to lead the country on the path of development."

"The fruits are seen as the lives of the citizens have improved. We did not do miracles, but we have succeded to manage the public money well by investing it in the support of people and modernising the country. We have laid the foundation for welfare, which will grow in upcome years. These are not promises, but they are natural follow-ups to what we have already done. We know what we have to achieve, we will continue the initiated projects, if the citizens choose the PDM. Be with the PDM, choose progress, not chaos. I believe in our projects, our strength and our victory," said Filip.

"An electoral campaign means a competition of facts, at the end of which the voter will support the best. The PDM is the team which deserves to govern and knows how to keep up with all the threats. The PDM team knows how to mobilise in difficult times and come up with the best solutions. We have the most professional team, that of facts and achievements. We have a pro – Moldova policy and we will achieve success and victory," said SP Andrian Candu.

Today, it has began the electoral campaign for the parliamentary elections of 24 February. The electoral propaganda can only be done by competitors registered in the electoral race.
