Moldovan PM sends congratulatory message to Chancellor of Austria

Chisinau, 9 January /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Ion Chicu today sent a congratulatory message to Federal Chancellor of Austria Sebastian Kurz, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The message reads:
”Dear Mr. Federal Chancellor,
On behalf of Moldova’s government and on my own behalf, I am quite pleased to offer you the most cordial congratulations on the occasion of your appointment to the office of Federal Chancellor of Austria and wish you much success and outstanding achievements in fulfilling the highly responsible mandate.
On this occasion, I would like to assure you that Moldova attaches a great value on the deep relation existing between our states and I want to express full gratitude for the constantly benevolent attitude of Austria towards my country, as well as the confidence in the further cultivation of this feeling of liking.
I evoke, in particular, gratitude for the valuable support which Austria is providing consistently and with generosity as regards the development policies and reforms, as well as special thanks for maintaining Moldova on the list of priority states in providing the Austrian assistance.
Moldova and Austria for a long time have been connected through a close relation of friendship, based on partnership and a solid economic cooperation. I am sure that, based on these excellent premises, by joint efforts, we will be able to strengthen the bilateral dialogue. I take advantage of this moment to assure you of the full openness and determination of the government I lead to contribute to the deepening of the Moldovan-Austrian cooperation in sectors of common interest and I voice hope that, in the near future, we will hold substantive discussions on up-to-date subjects on the cooperation agenda.
With these thoughts, let me reiterate, Dear Mr. Federal Chancellor, the congratulations and wishes of success in the carrying out of your important responsibilities, along with the assurance of my highest consideration.”
