Meteorologists forecast rains, snow in Moldova on last day of winter

Chisinau, 28 February /MOLDPRES/ - Meteorologists have forecast rains and snow for 29 February, more intensive ones in the central and northern Moldova.

According to the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS), the week-end will be characterized by diverse phenomena – from snow to sun and high air temperatures. Thus, for 29 February, meteorologists forecast rains, sleet and snow all over Moldova and the air temperatures will oscillate between -3 Celsius degrees at night and +10 degrees during the day. It will be traditionally colder in the northern region.

On 1 March, the air temperatures will vary between -2 degrees at night and +13 degrees during the day.

According to SHS specialists, during March, the average monthly air temperature increase by 4-5 Celsius degrees against February. The average air temperatures fluctuate between +1 degree in northern regions and +3 degrees in the southern ones.
