Chisinau-based commercial centres to be closed in week-end

Chisinau, 12 June /MOLDPRES/ - The Extraordinary Public Health Commission of the Chisinau municipality and the city hall informs that the markets from the Moldovan capital, as well as the commercial centres have special working schedules.

The agricultural markets, during the entire period of the COVID-19 epidemic, will work starting from 5:00 till 16:00 on the days from Tuesday till Friday and beginning with 6:00 till 14:00 on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Mondays will be sanitary days for all markets of Chisinau, no matter the form of property.

The commercial centres and the specialized trade units at their headquarters (except for movie cinemas, public nourishment units, leisure centres at their headquarters) will have the following working schedule: Monday-Friday, starting from 10:00 till 16:00 and the Saturdays and Sundays will be days off.

The measure was taken in the context of evolution of increase in the number infections with the new coronavirus, in order to prevent the worsening of the epidemiological situation in the Chisinau municipality.
