Chisinau city hall launchses questionnaire on corruption in capital's education institutions

Chisinau, 10 February /MOLDPRES/ - The local public authorities from Chisinau want to learn the degree of corruption in the capital’s education institutions. To this end, an online questionnaire was launched, in order to identify the degree of corruption in the schools and kindergartens from Chisinau.  

According to officials of the city hall’s education, youth and sport general department, - the subdivision which launched this questionnaire, with the identification of the corruption degree in schools, the policies could be changed in the municipal education system, in order to combat the phenomenon of collecting informal payments.  

The data collected will be processed with the observance of the confidentiality measures and the information about the participants will remain anonymous.

Illicit collections of money under any pretext, acceptance of other benefits on behalf of pupils and their families, as well as on behalf of parents’ public organizations are banned in the general education institutions.
