Greece to open embassy in Chisinau

Chisinau, July 28. /MOLDPRES/- Greece will open an embassy in Chisinau. Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Athens Andrei Popov made the statement today.

"Today I had a very good discussion with Konstantinos Fragogiannis, Greek Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Cooperation. We discussed the issues agreed at the May meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission. I thanked him for the decision of the Greek authorities to open an embassy in Chisinau, a step that will certainly contribute to the advancement of the bilateral partnership", Andrei Popov wrote on a social network.

The official said that the next important issue on the agenda is the resumption of direct flights between Chisinau and Athens.
