Beginners of Moldova's Border Police receive certificates on graduation of professional initiation course

Chisinau, 29 July /MOLDPRES/ - Twenty beginners in the Border Police have received their certificates on graduation of the professional initiation course. The festive meeting took place at the Centre of Excellence in Border Security on 28 July.

 „This course was held for you to gain new knowledge in the specialty and will surely help you in missions at the border in continuation. Starting from today, you go the Border Police Stations, where forces are needed, in order to cope with the big flow of passengers, triggered by the summer period, as well as to ensure the public order together. I thank you for having chosen the team of the Border Police and I wish you success, dear colleagues,’’ Head of the Border Police Rosian Vasiloi said at the event.

The event continued with a round of questions and answers between young people and the institution’s leadership. At the same time, the subject on the admission to education for the 2023-2024 academic year at the specialized education institution was tacked with the managerial team of the Centre of Excellence. 

The course of initiation in the profession of border policeman is established for a period of six months, of which three months are for theoretical classes and 3 – for practice. Moldovan citizens who have at least secondary education can benefit from these courses; priority have people with finished higher education or who study at a higher education institution, also – those who are registered by transfer from one of the Interior Ministry’s subdivisions.     

The education of border policemen is made at the Centre of Excellence in Border Security; in this respect, the groups are set up, depending on the needs of staff in the subdivisions of the border institution.
