Modern military camp to be constructed in settlement from Chisinau municipality

Chisinau, 31 July /MOLDPRES/ - A modern military campo is to be constructed in the Bacioi commune, Chisinau municipality. The parliament today adopted a draft law which sees the development of the National Army’s infrastructure in two readings.

Under the document, two plots of land will be withdrawn from the agricultural circuit on the purpose of building a modern military camp. It is about a plot of land of 7.6 hectares administrated by the Public Property Agency, which is managed by the Agriculture and Food Industry Ministry, and a plot of land with an area of 18.7 hectares, administrated by the Public Property Agency, which is managed by the Education and Research Ministry, situated in the unincorporated area of the Bacioi commune.

The Defence Ministry, in cooperation with development partners and military experts, worked out a study and concept, as well as a feasibility study on the project on reconstruction and arrangement of the Permanent Military Camp 136.
