Twenty sixth edition of MoldMedizin & MoldDen exhibition to be held at Moldexpo Centre

Chisinau, 14 September /MOLDPRES/ - The 26th edition of the international specialized exhibition of medical equipment, pharmaceutical preparations and stomatology, MoldMedizin & MoldDent, was inaugurated at the Moldexpo International Exhibition Centre today. The event will be opened till 17 September and brings together over 70 companies form more countries, among which Moldova, South Korea, Romania and Turkey.   

The exhibition MoldMedizin & MoldDent is resumed after a break of three years and represents an important event in the medical assistance sector, which annually attracts thousands of visitors and specialists in the medicine and healthcare sector.   

Thus, during four days, the newest pharmaceutical products, modern technology, utensils, medical and stomatological consumables, news in the field of the health of the mother and child, aesthetic medicine, hygiene products will be displayed in two pavilions of Moldexpo. Besides, the most recent technical innovations, as well as a wide range of services proposed by medical institutions, clinics and laboratories will be promoted in stands.      

Attending the event’s inauguration, Health Minister Ala Nemerenco said the exhibition had been organized on the Moldexpo platform for more than one quarter of century and due to it, new equipment was brought to Moldova’s medical system and new standards were implemented. „After of period of break, we inaugurate this event today again, which is not only an exhibition, but it also contains many other important elements for the promotion of health and of all physicians are doing in this country,’’ Ala Nemerenco said.  

The deputy head of the parliamentary commission for social protection, health and family, Adrian Belii, said the exhibition was a platform of communication between specialists in the field, business environment, officials, teachers and students. He also said the exhibition presented numerous supplies, which will allow setting new projects, endowments and knowledge and which results in the enhancement of the medical activity and improvement of the citizen’s safety.    

The Moldexpo director general, Carolina Chiper, informed that, during all days of the exhibition, visitors would benefit from medical consultations and express diagnosing of their health absolutely for free. Itinerant control points will work, where all people interested will be able to make quick tests. Family physicians, nutritionists, psychologists, gynecologists and other specialists will provide consultations and referrals to subsequent investigations.       

At the same time, the Health Ministry, professional medical associations and well-known public sanitary institutions will daily organize seminars and scientific and practical conferences, according to a special schedule.    

The exhibition is organized by Moldexpo, with the support of the Health Ministry and the professional associations of physicians from Moldova.
