Moldovan electoral body says seal ''Withdrawn'' to be put on ballot papers at all electoral contenders of Chance party

Chisinau, 3 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today ruled that the electoral bureaus of the polling stations would put the seal with the inscription, Withdrawn, in all ballot papers at all electoral contenders put forward by the Chance political party. The decision was taken, after today the Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE) had instructed the cancellation of the registration of the electoral contenders nominated by the concerned political party for the general local elections due on 5 November.

Under the CEC’s decision, the electoral bureaus of the polling stations will put the seal with the inscription, Withdrawn, till 18:00 of the day of 4 November.

Prime Minister Dorin Recean today evening informed that CSE today decided the cancellation of the registration of the electoral contenders nominated by the Chance political party at the general local elections due on 5 November this year.
