Chisinau, Nov. 11 /MOLDPRES/- The regional road rehabilitation project in the Rezina district is a positive example of the cooperation between ADR Centre, beneficiaries and local authorities, which has a significant impact on the development of the road infrastructure and has improved the quality of life of the residents of the area, the Development Agency Regional (ADR) Center has reported.

This conclusion was reached after ADR Centre conducted this week a post-implementation monitoring visit to the project "Rehabilitation and connection of the local road L165 to the national road R20 and the regional corridor no. 13 M2-R20". The purpose of this visit was to evaluate the impact of the project on the local communities and the quality of life of the inhabitants of Mincenii de Jos and Mincenii de Sus; Horodiște and Slobozia-Horodiște; Lalova and Tapova, for which access to the R20 national road has become more comfortable, according to the quoted source.

The works carried out under the regional project, carried out between August 2017 and December 2020, included the modernization of 20 kilometers of public roads and the rehabilitation of 15 bridges. These interventions facilitated access to the isolated localities with tourist potential in the Rezina district, including the tourist attractions in the village of Lalova and the Țâpova Monastery. Also, according to local authorities, the rehabilitation of the regional road contributed to improving access to regional and local markets, increasing the efficiency of economic activity and the mobility of the population, as well as facilitating the transport of services and goods in the area, explains ADR Centre.
