Moldovan Central Electoral Commission accredits more national observers for runoff election of general local polls

Chisinau, 14 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today accredited more national observers, confirmed a journalist and approved three messages of public interest, in the context of the runoff election of the general local polls due on 19 November 2023.    

According to CEC, 26 people on behalf of the MIRAD public association were accredited as national observers for monitoring the runoff election of the general local polls.  

At the same time, one journalist on behalf of the European PressPhoto Agency was confirmed for the coverage and monitoring of the next Sunday ballot. The Commission also approved three video clips worked out by CEC - part of the information campaign for the runoff election of the general local polls.  

On 19 November this year, the runoff election of the general local polls will be held in 273 settlements of Moldova. At the same time, repeated voting will take place in eight settlements of the country on the same day.
