Moldovan PM: I voted for comfortable locality

Chisinau, Nov. 19 /MOLDPRES/- I voted for a comfortable locality. Prime Minister Dorin Recean made the statement today, after casting his vote in the runoff elections. The official urged citizens to vote to elect their mayors.

"It is very important that everyone go out to vote today in the runoff election to elect mayors, the vote being the most important democratic exercise, and afterwards, everyone, local and central public administration to work and build Europe at our home", said Recean.

The Prime Minister added that it is necessary for the local public administration to be efficient, honest and transparent, while ensuring good coordination with the central public administration.

In 273 localities in the country, the runoff election is taking place today. The polling stations were opened at 07:00 and will close at 21:00.
