Moldovan police urge drivers to move prudently, as snowfall recorded in more regions

Chisinau, 13 November /MOLDPRES/ - Snowfall is recorded in more regions of Moldova today. In these conditions, the General Police Inspectorate (IGP) has come up with a string of recommendations for drivers.   

Thus, policemen urge drivers to endow their vehicles according to the conditions of movement, to reduce the speed and adapt it to the weather conditions, take knowledge about the state of the route on which they are to move and pay increased attention nearby crosswalks.  

At the same time, the drivers are warned to avoid the overrunnings, which can be extremely dangerous in such weather conditions, to couple the safety belts before setting out and not forget about the turning on of lower beams.  

According to the State Hydrometeorological Service, snowfall is forecast in more regions of Moldova today, in conditions of low air temperatures, which will drop to -15 Celsius degrees at night. On the days to come, the snowfall will cease, while the air temperatures will continue to be low.
