Moldovan deputy premier meets Belgian PM

Chisinau, April 4 /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov together with President Maia Sandu yesterday attended a meeting with Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo, who paid a working visit to Chisinau.

The officials discussed Moldova's European path and cooperation between our countries. "The government is determined to carry out the necessary reforms for an accelerated rapprochement with the European Union," Gherasimov said.

Gherasimov thanked for the support given to the European integration process, in the context of the current Belgian Presidency of the EU Council.

"We are grateful for the support Belgium has given us over the years, both politically and for the modernisation of the state," Gherasimov said.
