Book about history of Moldovan village launched at National Library

Chisinau, 20 May /MOLDPRES/ - A book titled, Oamenii, nobila și suprema valoare a Talmazei (People, the noble and supreme value of Talmaza), by MP of first Moldova’s parliament, holder of the Order of the Republic Nicolae Grosu, was launched at the National Library (BNRM) today.   

Contacted by MOLDPRES, the author said this was the second volume about the history of the Talmaza village. The volume comprises 1,757 photos from the 18th century till present, which show diverse fields from the history of the village. More outstanding personalities were born in this settlement, including Stefan Ciobanu, a former vice-president of the Romanian Academy, Minister of Cults and Arts of the Romanian government, lawmaker in the Country Council of Bessarabia, and others.
