Chisinau, 17 Dec. / MOLDPRES /- The State Tax Service (SFS) warns that there are ten days left until the deadline for paying the wealth tax for 2021.

"According to the Fiscal Code, the deadline for payment of wealth tax is until December 25 of the year of management, but, based on the fact that, this year, December 25, 2021 is a day of rest, the deadline for payment of the respective tax is considered December 27, 2021 ”, states SFS.

At the same time, if the taxpayer has not received the notice of payment of the wealth tax, it must be addressed to the subdivision of the State Tax Service within which it is served.

Wealth tax payments can be made online through Mpay's Government Electronic Payments Service.

If the wealth tax is not paid before December 27, 2021, for each day of delay the delay increase (penalty) of 0.0219% per day will be applied.

Wealth tax is applied to residential real estate and holiday homes (except land), all of which cumulatively meet the following conditions: the total estimated value is 1.5 million lei and more; the total area is 120 m2 and more.
