Business associations of Moldova can benefit from grants for exports' promotion: new funding call under BRIDGE Export Programme
Business associations can benefit from grants for exports’ promotion. The Investments Agency has launched the third funding call under the BRIDGE Export Programme 2027–2028. It has a total budget of 16 million lei and is meant to support export promotion initiatives and strengthen the presence of Moldovan products and services on international markets.
The new call gives business associations the opportunity to access non-reimbursable funding for the development and implementation of joint external promotion activities designed to facilitate Moldovan companies’ access to new markets and contribute to the expansion of international trade relations.
The BRIDGE Export Programme covers up to 60 per cent of the eligible costs of approved projects, enabling sectoral associations to plan and implement promotional activities tailored to the needs of the companies they represent.
The initiative supports the implementation of various activities, including participation in international exhibitions and trade fairs, the organization of business missions and B2B meetings, market studies and research, as well as campaigns promoting Moldovan products and services abroad.
“Through the BRIDGE Export Programme, we aim to support the joint initiatives of business associations and facilitate domestic producers’ access to new commercial opportunities,” said Natalia Bejan, Director of the Investment Agency; she encouraged associations to take advantage of this funding instrument.
The deadline for submitting applications under the call is December 2, 2026. The activities selected for funding will be implemented between January 2027 and January 2028.
The BRIDGE Export Programme contributes to the development of export capacities of companies from Moldova, by supporting collective promotion initiatives on foreign markets. Through the grant programme, the Investments Agency has facilitated the funding of 16 initiatives submitted by business associations, with a total budget of 20 million lei, for the implementation of 175 export promotion activities. These activities contributed to generating exports worth more than 1 billion lei.
