Heavy rains caused difficulties on several roads in Moldova
Chisinau, August 16 /MOLDPRES/- During the night and day of August 15-16, heavy rains accompanied by strong winds fell in the north and center of the country, which caused difficulties in road traffic and minor damages on some routes, the State Administration of Roads (ASD) has reported.
According to the institution, works were carried out to clean the roadway of sludge and mud in Străşeni, Călăraşi, Ungheni, Făleşti, Chişinău, Ialoveni and Glodeni.
18 special machines and 15 road workers were trained in the technological process. Other consequences caused by the rainfall recorded recently have not been identified, ASD said.
