
Moldova to receive grant on behalf of Japan for medical equipment
Chisinau, 19 August /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet members, at a today’s meeting, voted for the approval of a draft law for the ratification of the agreement on grant between the governments of Moldova and Japan on the supply of medical equipment within the programme on economic and social development, signed on December 2020.
Under the draft, the government ratifies the agreement on grant, compiled through exchange of notes, between the cabinets of the two countries on the supply of medical equipment within the programme on economic and social development worth 100 million Japanese yen (about 900,000 dollars), signed on 22 December 2020.
The government and other state’s institutions will undertake measures necessary for the carrying out of the provisions of the aforementioned agreement. The Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry will notify the Japanese government about the ratification of the aforementioned agreement.
The present law enters into force on the date of its publication in Moldova’s Official Journal.
