Moldovan tax body collected over 18 billion lei in first five months of 2021

Chisinau, 1 June /MOLDPRES/- National public budget revenues administered by the State Tax Service amounted to 18 billion lei in the first five months of this year, up by 2.9 billion lei against the same period last year.

According to the State Tax Service, 7.7 billion lei were collected in the state budget, which is 1.5 billion lei more compared to the same period of 2020.

Also, the state social insurance budget has got 6.3 billion lei, which is up by 731.4 million lei compared to the same period last year. At the same time, 2.1 billion lei were accumulated at the Compulsory Health Insurance Funds, up by 13 percent.
