BTA: Danube Rises Barely in Bulgarian Section, No Stranded Vessels Are Reported
A minimal rise in the level of the Danube River has been recorded, and there are no stranded vessels in the Bulgarian section, reported the Executive Agency for Exploration and Maintenance of the Danube River.
According to the data, the river level has risen by 2 cm at the Ruse water gauge station, by 1 cm at Nikopol, and by 4 cm at Svishtov. At Lom, a decrease of 4 cm was recorded. No change was recorded at the water gauge stations in Novo Selo and Silistra.
All restrictions on the draft of vessels remain in effect along the entire Bulgarian section of the river. The situation remains challenging.
