Moldovan Central Electoral Commission's head says ballot papers for parliamentary elections to be printed in full by September 23
The process of printing ballot papers for the parliamentary elections due on September 28, 2025, will be completed by September 23. The president of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), Angelica Caraman, has made statements to this effect at the show, At 360 degrees, aired on the public station Radio Moldova today evening.
According to the CEC head, all preparatory stages are currently completed: all electoral competitors have been registered, constituency electoral councils and the electoral bureaus of the polling stations have been established and electoral lists have already been distributed for verification at the polling stations.
‘’The CEC has initiated the printing of ballots for postal voting, where deadlines are more restricted. The participants in an official meeting will approve the final circulation for the polling stations inside the country and abroad. Printing will be done in two stages, in order to make sure that all deadlines are met. By September 23, we will complete the entire circulation and printing of the ballots, so that the electoral process can be carried out in conditions of transparency and legality,’’ said Angelica Caraman.
The CEC president also said that the electoral authority was conducting an extensive campaign to inform and motivate voters, aimed at increasing participation in the elections and providing citizens with all necessary information about the voting procedure.
