President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu will participate on May 4 in the European Political Community Summit, hosted in Yerevan by Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.

At the event, the head of state will hold several bilateral and multilateral meetings focused on advancing Moldova’s accession process to the European Union and strengthening security partnerships.

Maia Sandu will co-chair, alongside French President Emmanuel Macron a session dedicated to democratic resilience to hybrid threats — one of the central themes on the European agenda in the current security context.

The head of state will also take part in a meeting of the European Coalition Against Drugs, an initiative launched last year by President Emmanuel Macron and President of the Council of Ministers of Italy Giorgia Meloni.

The European Political Community Summit brings together leaders from more than 40 countries across the continent and represents an essential forum for political dialogue, security cooperation and strengthening of European unity.
