While the Government is building roads, aqueducts, and sewage systems, puppets of organized crime want to pull us back and stop our development. This was Prime Minister Dorin Recean's reaction to the actions organized by the current leadership of Orhei district, where the Prime Minister is on a working visit.
The Prime Minister said that representatives of Shor criminal group, who 'fraudulently came to rule in Orhei', paid a few hundred lei to some people to come and insist that we move backward.
'Kremlin's puppets have shown today what they really want - for people to be poor. Paying a few hundred lei to needy people to protest against the country's European path is nothing but stealing their future,' said the Prime Minister.
Dorin Recean emphasized that despite these pressures, the Government will continue to undertake good projects for the people of Orhei and for all Moldovans, 'even if a fugitive criminal does everything to destabilize Moldova and stop our development.'
Recean is on a working visit to Orhei district today. The agenda includes a meeting with representatives of local public authorities and decentralized services to discuss completed and ongoing projects, as well as the issues facing the district.
Additionally, the Prime Minister will visit two local businesses and meet with several restaurant and guesthouse owners, members of the National Inbound and Domestic Tourism Association of Moldova (ANTRIM).
He will also inspect the water supply works in the village of Pelivan and the repair of road G68, Susleni-Viscăuți section.
