As many as 1,459 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours
Chisinau, 12 December /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,658 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,459 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which nine import cases. As many as 125,723 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data put out by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 65 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians – 18, medical assistants –37, auxiliary staff employees – 10.
A number of 3,829 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are put in hospitals, of whom 288 are in extremely serious condition (62 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).
In the context, 9,026 persons are treated at home with easy forms of coronavirus and 31,733 are under supervision at the domicile.
Another 1,262 people have been treated and discharged. As many as 107,733 people were treated of COVID-19.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 26 deaths triggered by COVID-19, with 2,547 people dead because of the virus till present.
