Aviation bomb, several explosives neutralized by engineers in October

Chisinau, 9 November /MOLDPRES/- In October, the National Army sappers conducted 17 demining missions in localities from Ștefan Vodă, Anenii Noi and Ungheni districts.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the military engineers found 95 explosive objects and 1,469 cartridges of different calibers.

During the same period, the engineers neutralized a 25 kg aviation bomb, discovered in Puhăceni locality, Anenii Noi district. The same team intervened on October 4 and 11 in Răscăieți locality from Ștefan Vodă district, where it detected, on an agricultural field, 65 artillery projectiles, 1,109 cartridges of different caliber, as well as 12 anti-personnel mines.

All explosive objects were destroyed in maximum security.
