
Candidates for CSP membership can submit applications by 14 January
Chisinau, Dec. 24 / MOLDPRES /- The deadline for submitting candidate files to the position of member of the Superior Council of Prosecutors (CSP) has been extended until 14 January 2022.
The decision to extend the deadline was taken yesterday by the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Affairs, Appointments and Immunities.
According to the rules of the competition, the candidate for the position of member of the CSP must hold the citizenship of the Republic of Moldova and have at least three years of experience in the field of law and a well-known activity in the field of jurisprudence.
The participation file must contain the following documents: curriculum vitae; a letter of motivation written in the state language (Romanian), which will also include the Platform on the main objectives that the candidate will pursue if he is elected a member of the Superior Council of Prosecutors; proof of citizenship of the Republic of Moldova; copy of diploma / study license; documents confirming the experience in the field of law of at least 3 years; reference from two people; criminal record; a statement on his own responsibility that he is not prohibited from holding a public office which will be subsequently confirmed by the Certificate of Integrity; consent to the processing of personal data and handwritten declaration of assets and personal interests.
The competition for the selection of the candidate for the position of member of the CSP from the Parliament will take place in two stages: the submission and admissibility of the files and the interview. The candidate who obtains the highest score will be presented to the Legislature for appointment as a member of the Superior Council of Prosecutors.
