Three medals for Moldova at European Sambo Championship
Athletes from the Republic of Moldova won three medals at the European Sambo Championship.
The best performance was recorded by athlete Veaceslav Plămădeală, who won the silver medal in the 79 kg weight category.
In the combat sambo event, in the 71 kg category, Lucian Brai won the bronze medal.
In the women's competition, athlete Vera Zorea, born from Călărași district, finished third on the podium in the 54 kg category, thus bringing the third medal for our country.
The European Sambo Championship is organized in Limassol, Cyprus.
