PHOTO GALLERY // More than 130 cyclists set off from Chișinău in Tour of Romania
The competition started at Maria Bieșu National Opera and Ballet Theatre Square. More than 130 professional cyclists will cover approximately 170 kilometers today, crossing the districts of Ialoveni, Hâncești, Călărași, and Ungheni.
This year’s edition includes 23 teams from 16 countries, according to the Ministry of Education and Research. The competition takes place from September 9 to 13 and covers more than 800 kilometers in total.
