EUROPEAN VILLAGE: Multifunctional playground for children set up in Pîrîta
Chisinau, Aug. 15 /MOLDPRES/- Over 170 children of Pîrîta village, Dubăsari district now benefit from well-equipped playgrounds, after a multifunctional playground was built in the locality. The project was included in the European Village program and cost over 1.2 million lei.
Thus, at Viorica kindergarten in Pîrîta, a multifunctional playground was built on an area of 240 square meters and eight playgrounds were set up for eight groups of children.
Kindergarten director Veronica Nagalisov said that now outdoor play has become not only a fun but also a safe activity for children.
"The multipurpose ground is meant for conducting physical education and sports activities, including road safety education, so we teach children from an early age how to obey traffic rules and be well-trained pedestrians. The new facilities that we now benefit from also serve as a support for educators in organizing instructive-educational activities and motivating pre-school children for learning. At the same time, we increase the parents' confidence that the institution offers the little ones everything they need to develop according to their needs and expectations", she said.
The total value of the project is about 1.2 million lei. The money was allocated by the government through the National Fund for Regional and Local Development. The local public administration of Pîrîta also contributed almost 8,000 lei.
