Moldovan cabinet approves concept on management of regional development projects
Chisinau, 26 May /MOLDPRES/ - The acting cabinet members today approved a concept of an information system for the management of regional development projects.
Through this Concept, the Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment Ministry (MADRM) is set to modernize the approach of management of investment projects financed both from the National Regional Development Fund and those financed from foreign funds, as well as to develop a web-type platform, which will operate a database, which, in a centralized way, keeps record of the regional development projects. ‘’The new concept is to provide a system of providing data and to ensure the process of reporting as to the implementation of investment projects for regional development,’’ the document reads.
The concept describes the goal, objectives, duties and architecture of the information system for the management of regional development projects, as well as establishes the possessor, owner, technical manager, provider of data and its user.
MADRM, as possessor of the information system for the management of regional development projects, will ensure the implementation, work and development of the system, in accordance with the national legislation and the international agreements Moldova is party to.
The carrying out of the provisions of the current decision will be made at the expense and within the limit of the financial means annually provided for in the state budget and other means, according to the legislation.
