Through the MuseumInfoTur project, decision-makers have managed to carry out the promotion of the authentic tourist values in its area, through the setting up of eight Tourist Information Centres in the settlements Mereni, Calarasi, Criuleni, Orhei, Rezina, Soldanesti, Straseni and Galati. Also, two training modules, study visits (online/hybrid) to Romania and Moldova, as well as tours of promotion of the cultural and historical heritage in the project area were organized.

At the same time, we carried out an analysis of potential and the profile of the major tourist destinations0 from the region; we established the common tourist routes and developed joint excursion programmes. As a result, we created a common brand of the network and a guide titled, Destinations of the cultural cross-border tourism from Moldova (Moldova-Romania),’’ ADR Centru said.
The project included also the endowment of the Museums –Tourist Information Centres with demonstrative stands and personalized information panels, TV sets, as well as relevant furniture for the good work.
MuseumInfoTur was implemented by the Centru Regional Development Agency, in partnership with the Tourism Development Association (Moldova) and the Association of Cross Border Cooperation Lower Danube Euro-region (Romania). The project continues promoting and developing the cultural and historical heritage from the cross-border area, thus contributing to the enhancing of the tourist visibility and attractiveness for region’s guests.
