New communal service launched in Feştelita
Chisinau, Nov. 1 /MOLDPRES/- A new communal household waste collection service was launched yesterday in Feştelita village, Ştefan Vodă district.
The creation of the service was carried out jointly by Feștelita city hall and the residents of the village. "For the community, this event is very important, because people have been waiting for many years to be able to benefit from a modern communal service, which would help them to properly manage the garbage from personal households and contribute to maintaining a healthy and clean environment in the locality" , Feştelita mayor Nicolae Tudoreanu said.
As part of the project to improve and organize communal services, the Feștelita city hall chose to procure a multi-functional special vehicle with the support of the MĂ IMPLIC project. This will serve the community not only for the evacuation of household waste from the locality, but also for other necessary current works: sweeping and clearing the roads, mowing green spaces. It is the first purchase of equipment and machinery of public interest, which the city hall has made in the last 30 years, according to the local administration.
The procurement of equipment for the improvement and organization of the communal service is carried out with the support of MĂ IMPLIC project, from the funds of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and implemented by SKAT Consulting.
