41 people treated of COVID-19

Chisinau, 17 April /MOLDPRES/- On Thursday, 41 people who had been previously tested positive were released. Thus, the number of patients cured reached 276. Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection Viorica Dumbrăveanu made the statement today.

So far, 2,154 cases of COVID-19 infection have been registered in Moldova, following the processing of 9,848 samples.

The official said that in serious condition there are 143 patients, and of medium severity - 527, the rest in satisfactory condition. She urged citizens to follow the recommendations of the authorities and to avoid leaving home.

On 17 March- 15 May, state of emergency is declared in Moldova. Localities in Stefan Voda, Glodeni and Soroca were under quarantine, the exits and entrances of these locations are blocked.
