Chisinau, 26 March /MOLDPRES/ - Prose writer, poetess, translator, editor of books for children, member of the Moldovan Writers’ Union Silvia Ursache marks her 65th birthday university.
Silvia Ursache was born in the Drepcauti village, northern Briceni district, in 1957. In 1979, she graduated from the Physics Faculty of the Moldovan State University (USM) and was sent to work at the Applied Physics Institute of Moldova’s Academy of Sciences, where she worked as researcher during 13 years. Ursache made her research studentship at the same institution and maintained the thesis of doctor.
The works by Silvia Ursache are meant preponderantly for children.
Silvia Ursache made adaptations and retellings of more Romanian popular fairy-tales.
