Chisinau, 6 December /MOLDPRES/- The seventh issue of the reading contest, The Battle of Books, held at the B.P. Hasdeu Municipal Library on 4-5 December from Chisinau, has nominated its winners.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, the library’s director, Mariana Harjevschi, said that the great final had been held for those two categories, children and teenagers, which comprised the discussion, Persuade me to read!, during which the participants backed a pleading for the favourite book from the list recommended and answered questions by the jury and one question on behalf of competitors.

According to the organizers, this year, just as in the previous ones, the contest, The Battle of Books, was a good occasion to read new books recommended by librarians of the B.P. Hasdeu Municipal Library and the ones from the Octavian Goga County library from Cluj, Romania.
