
Speaker meets Moldovans in United Kingdom
Speaker Igor Grosu met with Moldovans settled in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. They showed interest in the reform agenda of the Republic of Moldova and the efforts made by the authorities in the European path.

He mentioned that the authorities are making efforts to attract as many investors as possible. This is why we are rapidly modernizing our country, and in this process the courage, ideas, and experiences of the diaspora citizens are extremely valuable. Together we will succeed,' said Grosu.
In the United Kingdom of Great Britain, Grosu met Ion Mereacre, who has been managing a successful business in the construction field for 24 years. Initially, Ion Mereacre was a simple worker, and now he manages a large team and enjoys the success.
Also, in Northampton, Grosu participated in Diaspora Fest: Sports and Traditions and Wheat Spike festivals. 'I saw how, thousands of kilometers away from home, a corner of Moldova came to life: a Moldovan 'cottage', popular craftsmen and handmade products, traditional food, and folk costumes. It was a true celebration of our nation, of the values we carry with us wherever we are. I am glad that here, in the United Kingdom, we have such a united, active community that promotes our traditions so beautifully,' he said.
