The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is conducting packaging, labeling and dispatching ballots to polling stations abroad. In total, 864,300 ballots have been received, intended for the 297 polling stations established overseas for physical voting.
For the 28 September elections, 301 polling stations will be operational, including those dedicated to postal voting. Printing the ballots required approximately 9 tons of paper, a significant logistical effort.
“The ministry ensures that on election day, every citizen of the Republic of Moldova abroad will be able to exercise their right to vote under conditions of safety, fairness, and transparency. About 4,000 people, members of the electoral offices, consisting of diplomats, consuls, and volunteers from the diaspora, will oversee the proper conduct of the elections to ensure that everyone's voice is heard,” the institution highlighted.
Updated information is also available on the official websites of the diplomatic missions and consular offices of the Republic of Moldova.
Parliamentary elections will take place on September 28. Citizens are expected at the polls to elect the deputies of the next Legislature.
